Product Description

Our stainless steel sterile air filter is designed for sterile air filtration in fermentation, biotech, veterinary medicine and food industries. Available in SS316L sanitary housing with tri-clamp connection. The 0.22 μm PTFE cartridge provides reliable bacterial retention for compressed air and tank venting. It can withstand in-situ steam sterilization, easy to install and maintain, an ideal auxiliary equipment for bioreactor and fermenter utility gas system.

Aelt sterile air filter is designed specifically to remove over 99.99998% of bacteria sized contaminant. They can effectively remove bacteria from compressed air and they are equipped with a stainless steel filter housing. The stainless steel filter housings are also designed for protection of the compressed air system where need the sterile air.

Features 

1,The stainless steel shell (304 / 316L) produced according to the GMP requirements of the pharmaceutical industry, the internal and external mirror treatment reaches 0.4um, and PTFE sterilization for sterilization filtration to ensure that the gas reaches sterile state.
2,PTFE Pleated Filter Cartridge for sterilization filtration to ensure that the gas reaches sterile state.
3,Filter cartridge integrity was maintained after continuous 20 steam-in-place cycles of 30 minutes at 127 ºC or 100 autoclave cycles of 30 minutes at 123ºC
4,The extractables level was less than 50 mg per m2 after autoclaved of 60 minutes at 127 ºC, then 24-h soak in purified water at 25ºC±2ºC

Application

This sterile air filter is mainly used to remove bacteria, microorganisms and fine particles from compressed air. It supplies continuous sterile air to fermenters and bioreactors for aerobic fermentation. It can also be applied in pharmaceutical, veterinary and food processing lines to provide qualified sterile process air, avoid microbial contamination and ensure the safety and stability of production.
